CHALLENGE #13 IT'S A CHRISTMAS TIME SKETCH!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Stampin Dragon and what better way to start ringing in the holiday but with Kenny K Download!!

Elena & Kenny K Digital Downloads
The man ....

I wielded a mean crayon in my early days growing up in the Bronx, but
made the quantum leap to the Mac at my first art studio job in 1990, and have been working as a digital artist ever since. My previous work experience includes seven years in consumer and pharmaceutical ad agencies as a photo retoucher and Mac production artist, a season at MTV Animation, and many, many freelance illustration and Flash animation jobs. These days when I'm not beating the hell out of my bass with the rest of the hooligans in my bands Almost Famous and Air Dogs, I'm hard at work here at my home art studio in Pearl River, NY.

In addition to the digi stamps and forthcoming downloadable content available
here at KennyKdownloads.com, much of my other existing work is available for personal
and commercial licensing; check out the Licensing section at KennyK.com for more
info on my existing properties - and feel free to browse the rest of the site, where
tons of my illustration and animation work are on display!

The woman behind the man . . . .

My name is Elena (a.k.a "Elena K" or "Lady K") and
I am the feminine touch of KennyKdownloads.com. I have been producing events and party planning for over 6 years in NYC and am a crafter at heart - I love anything creative, both handmade and digitally produced. I even ventured into business for myself starting a homemade basket company back in 2000; I eventually realized it was the creation that I loved, not the business side. My next leap of faith was to put my natural creative talents to use in the corporate world. Nothing like planning big events in New York on a big budget! Loving it ever since. Kenny and I have been looking forward to collaborating on a project together since we got married, and we are finally moving on it now with KennyKdownloads.com! ; While Kenny continually cranks away producing his amazing art, I'll be here in the site to keep things running smoothly, as Kenny pops in when time allows.

Kenny was so kind to offer the following as prizes:

1st place:  3 images
2nd place: 2 images
3rd place:  1 image

Way cool!!!

This time around we have a sketch for you to use.

To get some ideas here is what our Design Team has come up with.

Our Guest Design Team Member Kelly Smith

: Hi, my name is Kelly Smith; I live in Oldbury in the West Midlands with my husband and 3 children.

I started crafting in July 2010 after I decided I needed a hobby. I love card making the most although I do like to make jewellery and candles. I have always loved colouring since I was little and colouring images and then matching papers and embellishments to them just gives me a great sense of achievement.

The water challenge was the first I have won and I am really honoured to be a guest designer for Stampin with the Dragon and thank Janette and Beth for giving me this opportunity.

and her take on the sketch:

So, there you have it.  Now lets see what you all come up with.

*********************************************************************************

This weeks Challenge is being brought to you by Stitchy Bear Stamps .

Stitchy Bear is very kind in awarding this Challenge Winner 5 digi images combined from both Stitchy and Tress images.  Way Cool!

Now onto the challenge.  All you have to do is use ink anywhere you want on your card.  So, go to town and get all inked up and don't forget to post your cards here for a chance to win that awesome prize.

Our lovely Design Team has come up with great ideas on how to put that ink too work so here they are.

First is our Guest Design Team Member Margie Visnick.

About me:

I am a Stay at Home mom of 4 beautiful children, and I grab my crafty time whenever I can get a free moment. I have been scrapbooking for over 11 years, and I started making cards and other crafty gifts on a more frequent basis when I received my Cricut Expression over 3 years ago.I have been blogging for about 2 years at http://scrappinmargie.blogspot.com/, and I love sharing my crafty ideas with like minded people, and have made some great friends through the process!

And here is her card:

I made this card for my son, since this sweet little image reminded me of him! I used a Chatterbox paper kit that I had in my stash, and one of my favorite inking techniques, direct-to-paper, with Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I inked the edges of my card on each layer before attaching them to each other, and added a paper doily that I crumpled slightly and inked with Tumbled Glass and Tea Dye ink pads.I stamped a sentiment from Autumn Leaves with Tea Dye ink and then Walnut Stain on a stitched tag, and the image was colored with Copics
Now for the rest of the Design Team:

                                                                               Janette

                                                                        Marlene

                                                                             Tams

                                                                            Claire

                                                                       Beth

                                                                        Nataliya

                                                                             Robin

                                                                           Tammy

                                                                            Sammi

There you have it. Now lets see what you all come up with.
