CHALLENGE #11 WATER WATER WATER

Wow!!  October 1st is here and with that it brings a lot of good stuff your way.  Today is the day we are having our Grand Opening of our Store Message Board.  If you haven't done so already please go over and join (it's free).

There will be lots of great information and you will get to meet our very First "Spotlight" Guest Designer for the month of October Kate.  She is a very talented lady and if you would like to follow Kate's steps on becoming a "Spotlight" Guest Designer please go to our store forum and sign up to see what it takes to become a "Spotlight" Guest Designer.

Meet Kate:

Hi my name is Kate,
I live in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire in the UK. Local landmark I suppose the nearest is the largest single span suspension bridge across the River Humber.

I am relatively new to crafting in the card making, scrap booking and altered art sense; I suppose I got started in it as the husband finally after almost 7 years found himself a hobby – that would be fishing, so I needed something to fill my time too. However over the years, of which there have been many, (to many to mention), I have knitted, sewn, created some lovely cakes and decorated some large windows.

My husband and best friend Matt, assists and fully supports my crafts as well as the shopping that goes with it. After 11 years, he agrees with me when I say I am like a child in a sweet shop when I go shopping at my favourite locations around the area.

I would like to thank Beth and Janette for giving me the opportunity of being a Guest Designer, and hope that from my Beach Hut (my craft room) I can provide a little bit of inspiration.

Here is one of her cards:

Please visit her blog at http://downrightcrafty.blogspot.com/ and leave her some love.

Please meet our Guest Designer Karen Hartshorn.

Hi I’m Karen, aka flourgirl. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 36 years; I am a Mum to 2 lovely sons and Grandma to 2 gorgeous little girls. I think I was born crafting, ever since I can remember I have been making things, all the usual stuff, knitting, crochet, dressmaking and cross stitch.

My passion for papercraft started about 6 years ago when I went to a Cardmaking Demo, I was completely hooked!! My weakness is pretty papers and I spend waaaayy too much money on stash, trouble is it’s all so gorgeous and I want it all!! I love working with digital images, they are so versatile and can be resized to fit any project, plus they don’t fall out of the cupboard everytime you open the door!! Lol

I was so thrilled when asked to be Guest Designer for this challenge and I do hope you like what I have made for you.

How cute!

Now the rest of the Design Team:

This is Karyns last card for us here at Stampin Dragon, we would like to take this oppertunity to say a HUGE thankyou to Karyn for everything she has done for us both here and at Stampin Dragon Designs, and to wish her all the best for the future, we will miss you Karyn so keep poppin back in ok :)

There you have it, we cant wait to see your projects.
Now lets see what you come up with and remember you can only use the colors

WHITE,BLACK, AND ONE OTHER COLOR OF YOUR CHOICE!
