July Challenge in the Dragons Lair


Hello everyone!

 Thank you all so much for the fabulous turnout in last month's Challenge!
  We had 68 brilliant entries to look at!

 We are a challenge blog that pride ourselves on being open to all levels of crafters, which is why we always pick our winner using a random number generator.

Time for May's Challenge at Dragons Lair Designs

March 2016 - "Bingo Grid" Challenge

Hi everybody!  And Welcome!

With some great creations being entered in the February "Bingo Grid" Challenge we decided to give you another grid of items to work with this month.

But First - The Winner Of The February Challenge!

And Now Onto The March Challenge

As usual there's a £5 voucher, to spend in the Dragons Lair Designs Store, up for grabs for the lucky winner - who will be chosen by a random number generator at the end of the month.

As I said at the begining of this post, we have another "Bingo" grid of items you can craft with this month.  You can choose any three that appear in a straight line to include in your crafting project.  You can craft anything, and include anything else you want, provided you include (and list in your blog post) three items from a straight line.

So - which three are you going to choose?

Members of the design team can't wait to start visiting your blog posts and seeing what you've chosen to include in your creations.

To give you a little inspiration to get your creative juices flowing the design team have made the following creations to show you.

The "Finch on Branch" digi stamp was used to make this card, putting the finch in a parchment birdhouse with lots of pink flowers and blossom around.
Anything from Dragons Lair Designs, Silver & Blue
Susan chose the "Lady Sillohette" image from Dragons Lair Designs and married it with elements from the "Deco Daze" collection to make this striking card.

Jacqui
Pink, Silver & Birthday
Jacqui made this lovely birthday card using items from the "Pansy Collection".  She's had fun silver foiling using her Todo machine as well.

Anything from Dragons Lair Designs, Silver & Blue
For this card Diane has used the sweet Baby Giraffe digi-stamp from DLD

Lynne
Anything from Dragons Lair Designs, Silver & Blue
Lynne's chosen an element from the Understated Elegance collection for her central panel.

Nan

Nan has used egg digi stamps and a background from the Heavenly mini collection from Dragons Lair Designs

February 2016 - "Bingo Grid" Challenge

Hi everybody!  And Welcome!

After having a month off in January we are back with a new challenge this month.

As usual there's a £5 voucher, to spend in the Dragons Lair Designs Store, up for grabs for the lucky winner - who will be chosen by a random number generator at the end of the month.

This month we have a "Bingo" grid of items you can craft with, for you to look at and choose any three that appear in a straight line to include in your crafting project.  You can craft anything, and include anything else you want, provided you include (and list in your blog post) three items from a straight line.

So - which three are you going to choose?
Will it be - Flowers, 3 Buttons and Yellow; Yellow, Dragon and Glitter; Glitter, Purple and Tree - or any of the other options available.

Members of the design team can't wait to start visiting your blog posts and seeing your creations.

To give you a little inspiration to get your creative juices flowing the design team have made the following creations to show you.

Gwyneth
3 Buttons, Dragon & Purple
The digi-stamp Crafting Penny was used, together with a background and flowers from the Trick or Treat collection
Flowers, 3 Buttons & Yellow
Susan has used Vintage Garden Clock and an assortment of Sarah Collection Flowers to make this lovely springtime card.

Jacqui
Flowers, Lace & Glitter
Jacqui used a floral embossing folder, a lace ribbon, and went wild with the sparkle all over the heart topper from the Friends Wordart sheet. 

Lace, Dragon & Green
Diane has used Lulu Dragon with a background from the Home Tweet Home Collection to make this lovely card.

Lynne
Flowers, 3 Buttons & Yellow
Lulu obviously loves yellow as she's got her yellow paint out in this image of Lulu Dragon Painting.

Nan 
Flowers, 3 Buttons & Yellow
For this fun creation Nan has used the Fairy in Floral Frame digi stamp
